In 2010 Fundacion Fuente De Amor, Inc. began as a dream of Liybnan and Orietta Scheker to minister to Oreitta's hometown in La Vigia, a village along the Carraterra Mella in a province of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Having grown up in the Dominican Republic they experienced the poverty and lack of vision for the poor and uneducated. They had built a small church and school with a pharmacy when missionaries Bud and Karen Simon, missionaries to the island started working together with them. After much prayer, God brought Pastor Franklin Payamps and his wife Lavi to the church and school. With support from Old North Church of Canfield, Ohio USA and others, the foundation is beginning to flourish. The church building was rebuilt along with some repairs to the school and pharmacy. A Career Center was planned in 2013 to add to the children's school program to teach high school and adults. Construction has been ongoing since then.
